I purchased my first Bulldog in 1983 from a woman in
Pittsburgh, PA. The dog, which I named Samantha, was
a beautiful fawn & white color. I did breed "Sam"
as well. Her first litter was in the Spring of 1984,
and I have been breeding English Bulldogs ever since.
I don't know what this says about me, but I believe
that to be in the breeding business for 20 years, is
a good sign.
There are many rewards to breeding English Bulldogs.
When you place a puppy in a home & the owners bring
their puppy back for a visit, and you realize the puppy
remembers you, having pictures sent of their growth,
getting calls asking questions, and having people come
back to purchase another puppy a year, two years, or
even 9 years later. This all makes me feel very good
about what I do.
A person who breeds English Bulldogs two, ten, twenty
years always learns something new. You never know it
all.
Several of my dogs are now retired, but they will not
be placed in another home to live out their days. They
will stay in Margie's Bullpen.
Thankyou for coming to my home on the Web.
